約克大學(The University of York)是位於英格蘭約克郡的一所國際知名校園大學，為N8、英國羅素大學集團和白玫瑰大學聯盟成員之一。主要校區位在約克市的郊區，緊臨黑斯靈頓。
約克大學是一所英國新興玻璃平板大學，於1963年成立時僅招收了200名學生，當時大學僅由3座大樓所組成，主要是King's Manor以及Heslington Hall，一年後才開始拓展Heslington校區，從而組成了目前大學的主要部分。
約克大學擁有8所學院(Derwent、Langwith、Alcuin、Vanburgh、Goodricke、Wentworth、James、Halifax)，但是並不像傳統牛津劍橋一樣擁有一定的權力，約克大學學院的存在比較像是傳統的大廳聚集地一般供學生聚會談天。
約克大學在英國官方的RAE大學榮登第8位、2014泰晤士報Times排名第11、QS世界大學排名 2013/2014上排名世界第114，泰晤士高等教育世界大學排名 2013-2014上位居世界第100，上海交通大學世界大學學術排名 2013上位居世界第201-300位。
約克大學以其著名的歷史系及電腦科學系屢屢創造佳績，其知名校友同樣遍布全球，其中包括 Phil Lester、 Anthony Horowitz、 Greg Dyke、 Sir Michael Dixon、Chris Lilley、F. R. Leavis、Adrian Leftwich等。
